SEIDL, DORENE RUTH WILLIAMSON,69, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008.
She was a retired employee of Dr. Greg Karem, a charter member of Briargate Presbyterian Church, where she was the Worship Committee Chairperson and was in the Choir and Bell Choir; and a member of Southwest Breast Cancer Society, where she made numerous hats and scarfs for breast cancer patients. "Dorene touched the hearts of countless numbers of people throughout her life." She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Chervyl Williamson. She is survived by her husband; her daughter; and best friend, Pamela Lea Scanlon (Keith); grandchildren, Mallory and Tanner, who were the light of her life; her loving father, Harold Williamson; and her brother, Allen Chester Williamson.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Briargate Presbyterian Church, 2100 Upper Hunters Trace with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. -6 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
