Obituary

Bevans, Beatrice M. (Caddy) of Norfolk, formerly of Plymouth & Squantum, August 26, 2008.

Wife of the late Wilbur C. Bevans. Loving mother of William Caddy Bevans of Deering, NH, Sherri Holleran of Norfolk, Marcia Morse of Dumfries, VA, the late Thomas Bevans, and the late Susan Bevans. Sister of the late William R. Caddy, USMC, Medal of Honor winner. Also survived by numerous grandchildren.

Beatrice lived in Norfolk for the last 11 years. She spent most of her life and raised her family in Squantum. She worked for many years at Brett's Variety Store in Montclair. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Plymouth. She was particularly proud of her brother William R. Caddy, USMC, a Medal of Honor recipient.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday 3-5 PM.

Funeral service in the Episcopal Church of Saint Chrysostom, Quincy Tuesday at 10 AM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Donations in memory of Mrs. Bevans may be made to the William R. Caddy Detachment #124 Marine Corps League, 111 Newbury Ave., Quincy, MA 02171.
