Mrs. Inez O. (Santoro) Crevo 101, of Newburyport, and formerly of Burlington and Franklin, died Sunday August 24, 2008 at the Country Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Newburyport, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late James Crevo, who died in 1988.
Born in Ofena, Italy December 18, 1906 a daughter of the late Claudio and Gacinta (Mancini) Santoro, she lived in Newburyport for the last 5 years, but lived most of her life in Franklin.
She came to the United States in 1912 and settled with her family in Franklin where she was raised and educated. Mrs. Crevo was a retired homemaker.
She was a former member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Franklin.
She is survived by two sons Robert J. Crevo of Burlington, and Charles C. Crevo of Wellesley. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Eda Velluti, Nicholas Santoro, Ulderico “Rico” Santoro, and Hugo Santoro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday August 28, 2008 at 8:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 9AM.
Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
