Edward C. Bedard, 85, of Plymouth formerly of New Bedford died peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2008 surrounded by his family at Jordan Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise (Bullard) Bedard who passed away in April of this year. He was the loving father of Jo-Ann Pacheco of South Dartmouth and the loving grandfather of Jodi Pacheco of Marion. Born in Hamburg, Germany, he was the son of Aldie and Helen (Koch) Bedard. Edward grew up in Fairhaven and graduated from Fairhaven High School and attended SMU. He was proud to serve in WWII and Korea with the US Navy and US AirForce and worked at NSTAR for 38 years. He was on the board of the Plymouth Industrial Development Corporation, member of the Plymouth Yacht Club, VFW, past member of Kiwanis, Rotary and the American Legion.
