Evans, GA – Emmanuel Rodriguez, 17, entered into rest on Friday August 22, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday August 26, 2008 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Rev. Pat Williams officiating.
Emmanuel was born in El Paso, TX and was proud of being a military child. He was very involved in swimming throughout his life. Emmanuel was a senior at Greenbrier High School, and was looking forward to starting school at Georgia Military College after graduation. He was a member of the NJROTC and the Swim Team. Emmanuel was very close to his sister, Amanda, and loved spending time with his friends. He also enjoyed playing video games. Emmanuel will always live in our memory and our hearts.
Loving God, - You watch over each and every one of your children, Hear our prayer for our son Emmanuel, Be his constant companion, fill his soul with harmony, and bring him back to your home, Watch over my child, dear Lord. Amen
Survivors include his loving parents, Dennis and Karen Rodriguez of Evans, one sister, Amanda Rodriguez of Evans, maternal grandparents, Manuel Gonzalez and Gloria E. Rivas, both of Puerto Rico, and his girlfriend Shannon Rhodes.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 26, 2008 immediately following the memorial service.
