Grace Prouty DeGraaf - 47West Palm Beach, Florida—Grace Prouty DeGraaf, 47, of 1011 Avon Road, West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Boylston, died Wednesday, March 26, in the Hospice of West Palm Beach of cancer.

She leaves her husband, Robert DeGraaf of West Palm Beach; a son, Joshua Woods of West Palm Beach; a brother, David Prouty of Boylston; a sister, Linda Brigham of Boylston; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Edward A. Prouty and Kathleen B. (Beattie) Prouty and lived in Boylston for 28 years, moving to West Palm Beach in 1984. She graduated from Tahanto Regional High School.

Mrs. DeGraaf was a waitress at Bergson’s Restaurant in Worcester and Greens Restaurant in West Palm Beach. She was a member of Boylston Congregational Church, Past Worthy Advisor of Holden Assembly #85 Order of Rainbow Girls, and was an avid New England Patriot’s fan.

A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M., Friday, April 4, in First Congregational Church, 4 Church Street, Boylston. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joshua Woods Fund, c/o Shrewsbury Credit Union, P.O. Box 227, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
