In Taunton, August 18, 2008 Chong U. (Hong) died suddenly at the age of 45. Chong was the beloved mother of Tanya Stewart of Taunton and her late daughter Angela. She resided on West Britannia St. and has lived in Taunton for the last 21 years. Before living in Taunton Chong lived in South Korea. She worked as a teacher at the Amego School in Mansfield. Chong enjoyed gardening, watching Korean Soap opera’s, visiting Foxwoods and her angel collection. Chong is also survived by several sisters & brothers in Korea and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the Memorial Methodist Church on Somerset Ave. in Taunton on Friday, August 22nd at 11am. Visiting hours will be prior to the service at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton from 9-10:45 am. Interment in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
