Raymond V. Bennett age 74 of Salem, NH, died Wednesday at the Lawrence General Hospital Lawrence, MA.
He was born in Methuen, MA, grew up and was educated in Lawrence, MA. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 44 years, formerly of Methuen.
Mr. Bennett was a retired Meat Cutter for SH Brennan in Lawrence, MA. He also worked for Butcher Boy’s Market in Salem, NH and No. Andover, MA. He was a US Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and playing pool. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Bennett was predeceased by a son John M. Bennett.
He is survived by his Wife of 51 years: Justine (McCarthy) Bennett of Salem, NH

Daughter: Mary Rae Neenan of Salem, NH
Daughter In Law: Kristin Bennett of Exeter, NH
Sister: Claire Causer of Clearwater, FL
4 Grandchildren: Raymond & Patrick Neenan, Elizabeth & John M. Bennett Jr.
Graveside services will be private for the family at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem, MA. The are no calling hours.
