Nashua, NH—Dorothy Linda LeWarne, 58 years old, a resident of Nashua, NH, passed away, Sunday August 17th, at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Lowell, a daughter of the late William A. and Virginia G. (Bigelow) LeWarne, and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1968. She received her BA at University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Dottie had been employed as the Office Manager for Brown & Brown Insurance Agency, (formerly McDuffee Insurance Agency), in Pepperell, for twenty-five years.
Dottie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her pets, and vacationing at the beach.
She is survived by her devoted sister: Sharon LeWarne, of Lowell; her loving niece: Julia Sullivan, of Chelmsford; her beloved godchildren: Melissa and Ashley Ottens, and their parents Alan Ottens and Linda Ferrante, of Pepperell, her closest friends whom she loved as family. She also leaves numerous friends and business associates in the community.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, August 20th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte, 38), Lowell. Her funeral service to be held on Thursday, August 21st, at 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by burial in the Lowell Cemetery.
After the burial in the Lowell Cemetery, all are invited to join with the family for a gathering at the Doubletree Riverfront Hotel, 50 Warren Street, Lowell.
