SOUTHARD, MARGARET E.
Margaret (Maggie) E. Southard, 91, of Estill, widow, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at 11 o’clock at International Church of God (formerly West Ashley Church of God) 1560 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29407. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston. Visitation will be held this evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 o’clock.
Mrs. Southard was born November 22, 1916 in Clyde, NC, daughter of the late Manuel L. Medford and Lula Green Medford. Mrs. Southard was born in the mountains of North Carolina which she dearly loved. She was retired as a Seamstress from School Timer Frock.

Fourteen great grand children and nine great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one grandson; Donald (Don) Cumbee (four months ago). She was also predeceased by two sisters; Jennie Medford and Nannie Black, and five brothers; Carlos Medford, Johnny Medford, Jack Medford, Ratliff Medford and Floyd Medford.
