Alfredo C. Braga, age 63, resident of Fall River for 37 years. Passed away Aug. 17, 2008. Husband of Fernanda (Rego) Braga. Born in Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores, the son of the late Jose & Ermelinda (Cabral) Braga. Before retiring, Mr. Braga worked as a Laborer for Manny Pavao Construction Co. for 27 years. He was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church.
Besides his wife of Fall River, he is survived by 4 children: Carl Braga, Delci Barbosa, Michelle Valentim, & Jessica Ferreira all of Fall River. 2 brothers: Joao & Manuel Braga both of Fall River. 3 sisters: Cremilde Carvalho & Ines Costa both of Fall River, Angelina Almeida of New Hampshire. 5 grandchildren & several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jose Braga.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in Espirito Santo Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-9 P.M.
