Obituary

Aldo J. Giolito, a life-long Medford resident, died suddenly, Tuesday, at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. He was 86.

Mr. Giolito was born in Medford, the son of the late Lorenzo and the late Orsula (Annino) Giolito. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. For 44 years he worked as a supervisor at Federal Paper Board, Medford.

Aldo was a member of the VFW post 1012, Medford and the Malden Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Dora (Dercolo) Giolito, his son Robert Giolito and wife Lucy of Revere, and daughter Donna Spagnolo and husband Vincent of Saugus.He was the brother of Gloria Giggi and her husband Michael. He also leaves grandchildren: Melissa Giolito, Renee Giolito, Christina Cieri, Rocco Cieri, and Steven Spagnolo.

Friends may visit Thursday from 4 thru 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.His funeral mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, Friday at 9AM.Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
