Edward M. Rolnick, Sr., 84, of Dartmouth died Tuesday March 25, 2003 at home after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Muriel E. (St. Jacques) Rolnick, and son of the late Paul and Agatha (Skoczulek) Rolnick.
Mr. Rolnick was born in New Bedford and had lived in Dartmouth for many years. He was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School.
He was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church in North Dartmouth.
He was formerly employed as a sales service engineer for Morse Twist Drill until his retirement in 1980.
Mr. Rolnick held several patents for tool design. He was a member of American Tool Engineers Association.
Survivors include a son, Edward M. Rolnick, Jr. of Dartmouth; a daughter, Jacqueline M. Rolnick of New Bedford; a sister, Stella Bigos of Dartmouth; and a grandson, U.S. Army 2nd Lieutenant Nathan G. Machado of Fort Lewis, Wash.
