Obituary

Mr. Thomas Joseph Hogan, 67, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, August 10th, 2008 at the Wingate at Andover. He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Thomas B. and Florence E. (Wormwood) Hogan. He was also pre-deceased by sister Maureen and brothers Michael and Kevin.

Mr. Hogan was a graduate of Saint Patrick's Grammar School and of Central Catholic High School. He spent the last thirty years in food sales working for various brokers. He enjoyed spending his summers at the family home in Old Orchard Beach, ME.

Tom will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He touched many lives with his generosity, friendship and humor. He always said his wealth was in his family. His greatest strength was his refusal to bow down in defeat. He loved the ocean and loved his Irish heritage. He was a man of great faith, proud yet humble, who loved God.

Daughters: Maureen Hogan Scheuermann and her husband Thomas of Gales Ferry, Conn.

Sheila Foderaro and her husband Steven of Methuen, MA.
Kathleen O'Brien and her husband Timothy of Salem, NH

1 Brother: Richard N. Hogan and his wife Virginia of Estero, FL.

As well as 17 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He will also be dearly missed by his mother-in-law, Delia Bouchard of Haverhill, MA., his sisters- and brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 14th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Patrick's Church in Lawrence, MA.

Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
