Obituary

Constance K. (Vadala) DeSimone, of Medford, formerly of Boston’s West End, died suddenly, Saturday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 92.

Mrs. DeSimone was born and raised in Boston’s West End, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Josephine (DiBlasi) Vadala. A Medford resident for 55 years, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of St. James Parish, Lady’s Sodality and a member of Malden’s Elliot Club.

She was the beloved wife of the late Oliver “Ollie” DeSimone. She was a devoted mother of Dennis DeSimone and his wife JoAnn of Nashua, NH, Ronald DeSimone and his wife Nancy of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Christopher, Jamie, Carolyn, Meghan, Lauren, Ernie, Megan, Coleen, Michael, Kristen and loving great grandmother to Dominic and Joshua. She was a dear sister to Guy Vadala of Revere and Thomas Vadala of Medford.

Her funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
