Obituary

Worcester – Paul A. Muzzey Sr., 79, of Worcester died on Saturday, August 9th, in his home after an illness.

Mr. Muzzey’s wife of 47 years Emma R. (LaRochelle) Muzzey died in 1997. He is survived by a son Paul A. Muzzey, Jr. and his wife JoAnne of Worcester; two sisters Barbara M. Kublbeck and Shirley Rabidou both of Worcester; grandchildren; great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Paul was born in Worcester son of the late Archie and Helen (Sullivan) Muzzey and is also predeceased by a step son Richard C. Meringo Jr. who died in 1996 and a brother William F. Muzzey who died in 2000.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. Paul worked as a heating technician for over 53 years retiring from McDonald Heating & Air Conditioning Company in Leicester. He very much enjoyed fishing during his free time and belonged to the former Homer Wheaton Post.

Calling hours are on Tuesday, August 12th, from 5 to 8 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. A Committal Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 13th, in Saint John’s Cemetery.
