Earlene Hargis, 87, Clarksville, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Uffleman Estates. The funeral will be held at 11am Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4pm till 8pm Monday and from 9am till the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Earlene was born in Indian Mound, March 29, 1921, daughter of James Lois Vaughn and Hauttie Gillium Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmo Hargis and one son Rymon Hargis. She was a retired cosmotogist and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons Albert Raymon (Bobbie N.) Hargis and Randall Hargis both of Clarksville, one daughter Sue(Charles) Walker of Bumpus Mills one sister Nell Grasty of Indain Mound, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
