Susan M. (Alcione) Ciccariello of Stoneham passed away on Monday, March 24, 2003 at her home. She was 85 years of age.
Born Cambridge, Mrs. Ciccariello lived in Somerville for many years before moving to Stoneham. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all. Her warm smile reflected the many friendships she had made over the years.
Susan was an employee for twenty years in the Harvard University Dining Halls. However, Susan’s love for her family went unparalleled. She was a dedicated homemaker her entire life.
Mrs. Ciccariello was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ciccariello. She was the devoted mother of Joseph Ciccariello of Stoneham, Patsy Ciccariello and his wife Nancy of Stoneham and Nancy Folger and her husband Alfred of Wakefield. Sue was the cherished grandmother of Joseph, Patty, Michele and Anthony. She was the loving great grandmother of Jack, Rylee, Maeve and Robert. Sue was the dear sister of Frank Alcione of Medford, Ray Alcione of South Boston and Edith Gelenzes and Ethel Alcione, both of Malden.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in memory of Sue on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at 9am in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday 4-8pm.
