Gertrude M. (Rogers) Wininger, passed away peacefully at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford on Monday, following a extended illness, the wife of the late Robert Wininger she was eighty-one years old.
Born and raised in Somerville, she worked for over twenty-five years for the City of Somerville in the assesor´s office and made her home in Medford for over fifty years.
Gertrude is survived by her daughter Donna J. Corso and her husband Anthony of Burlington. Three sisters Madeline McEachern and Virgina Rogers of Medford, and Theresa Mello of Arlington. She is predeceased by her brother John Rogers and a sister Mary G. Rogers. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, on Thursday at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebarated in St. Joseph Church 118 High st. Medford at 11. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
