PHILPOT, LINDA NELL, 62, died Monday, August 4, 2008 at Norton Palliative Care.
She was the former Linda Brown and was born in San Francisco CA. Mrs. Philpot was a retired school teacher for the Jefferson County Public Schools for over 33 years and was teaching last at Kerrick Elementary School. She was a member of Shively Christian Church and the Y.M.C.A.
Mrs. Philpot is survived by her husband, Carl Philpot; a son Jason Lee Philpot; a brother, Richard Brown; and sister, Gail Margaret McKernan.
A memorial service will be Saturday, August 9,2008 at Shively Christian Church 1822 Kendall Lane at 2 p.m. Owen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
