Worcester – Everett S. Smith, Jr., 79, of Worcester died on July 31st, 2008 in the Parsons Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after an illness.
Mr. Smith is predeceased by his wife Ethel M. (Whitenett) Smith who died in 2002. He is survived by a son Everett S. Smith III of Richmond, VA; a daughter Carol A. Gagen of Worcester; two brothers Donald Smith and Stanley Smith both of Webster, MA; two sisters Barbara Smith of MA and Lillian LeBlanc of Chula Vista, CA; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Everett was born in Worcester, MA son of the late Everettt S. Smith, Sr. and Carrie M. (Jason) Smith. He was an Auxiliary Member of the Worcester Police Department and served in the Army National Guard.
Mr. Smith worked for both U.S. Envelope Company and National Envelope Company as a machine operator until his retirement.
Funeral services and burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton at a later date. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
