Lorraine P. Howard, 55, of Penacook, NH, died Monday, August 4, 2008 in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Miss Howard was born in Buffalo, NY on March 5, 1953, a daughter of the late Joseph and Maryann (Malik) Howard. She was a resident of Penacook for the past 24 years, formerly living in Nashua, NH and Cheektowaga, NY. Miss Howard was a graduate of JFK Junior and Senior High School, and Buffalo State College. She was employed by Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, NH. Miss Howard was an avid member of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and loved spending time at the seacoast.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Schmitt of Worcester, MA; her brother, Thomas Howard of Sutton, MA; her niece, Hollie Howard of Westborough, MA; and her nephew, Craig Howard of Buffalo, NY.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Saturday, August 9th from 9 - 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH, with a memorial service that followed at 11:00am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710.
