Horace C. Bryson, 88, of Londonderry, NH, formerly of the Malden, MA, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at St. Teresa Rehabilitation Center in Manchester, NH. Born in Boston, on July 6, 1920, a son of the late Henry and Marion (Craig) Bryson.
Surviving family include, one son, Carl Bryson, of New Boston NH, one daughter, Diane Cappelli, of Londonderry; five grandchildren, Robert Bryson of Auburn, NH, Janet Horrigan of Salisbury, NH , Andrea Bryson Huebner of Reno, NV, Zachary Wray of Tampa, FL, and Vanessa Wray of Manchester, NH. Surviving also are four great grandchildren and a former spouse, Annette Carter of Litchfield, NH.
Mr. Bryson, beloved father and grandfather and former machine shop owner, was a Merchant Marine of World War II.
He was known for his generosity, sense of humor and cooking skills. Mr. Bryson loved feeding the birds and all of nature in general.
A memorial service to celebrate his life and homegoing was held at 7:00pm Friday, August 8 at Calvary Bible Church Chapel, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry, NH . Reception of friends and family immediately followed in Fellowship Hall.
