Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6pm.
Obituary Information
Mr. Lopes died unexpectedly Thursday at the Brockton Hospital. He was born and raised in Portugal, son of Antonio J. and Maria N. (Sousa) Lopes. He moved from Portugal to Brockton in 1969, and has been a resident of Brockton since that time. He was a longtime employee of the C.S. Pierce Manufacturing Company, the former Brockton Sole and Plastics Company. Mr. Lopes enjoyed woodworking and reading, and was loyal to his family and friends. He was a member of the Portugese Holy Ghost Society in Bridgewater and a communicant of St. Margaret Church
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teresa M. (Rego) Lopes, his daughter Teresa M. Cabrinha of Raynham, his parents Antonio J. and Maria N. (Sousa) Lopes of Brockton, 1 brother Carlos A. Lopes of Brockton and 1 sister Yvonne Ventresco of Easton and many nieces and nephews
