HOPEDALE___Marianna A. “Lucy” (Miller) Bis, formerly of Worcester died Sunday, August 3 in Continuing Care Center of Hopedale.
She leaves two sisters, Janina Radoch and her husband Czeslaw of Worcester and Gabriela Lucas of England; three brothers, Michal Miller of Florida, Edward and Zygmunt Miller both of Poland; a nephew, Lech Godzina and his son Szymon of Worcester; and two nieces, Dorota Miller of Quincy and Gabriela Beldzinska and her family of Poland. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Bis who died in 1977. Marianna was born in Poland, a daughter of Antoni and Stanislawa (Pawlowska) Miller.
The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 7 with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave., Worcester. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester will be Thursday August 14 at 4:00 p.m. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester is directing funeral arrangements.
