Mary M. Crawford, 89, passed away on July 31st, 2008 at the Woburn Nursing Center. She was born in Malden on February 27th, 1919 to her parents Justin and Catherine (Morrin) McCarthy. Mary has been a resident of Medford for most of her life. For several years she was employed by Filenes as a sales clerk. She was also a homemaker, taking care of her husband and her son. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Harold Crawford; the mother of the late Leo Hennessy; the sister of Justin McCarthy of Medford and the late Anna McWeeny, Catherine Nagle and John and Leo McCarthy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend funeral services from the A.J. Breslin and Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Monday August 4th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church Chapel, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday August 3rd from 4-7 PM.
