HYDE,
Walter J. “Joe”, 81, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Baptist Hospital East.
He was retired teamster of Local 89, a member of Parkwood Baptist Church and a member of the Plumb Masonic Lodge #862.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Lou Genia Hyde; brothers, John Harvey and Carl F. Hyde, Sr. and sister, Josephine Akin.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy M. Hyde; daughter, Carol Hyde Bartlett (Millard R.), brothers, Frank Hyde (Lucille) and David Hyde (Sue) and several nieces and nephews.
His service will be Monday 2pm at Parkwood Baptist Church, 7009 Manslick Road, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 12pm-9pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and Monday 11am-2pm at the church.
