Obituary

LAWRENCE – Ronald P. Dube 73 of Lawrence died Friday August 1, 2008 at his home after a long illness.

Born and educated in Lawrence, he was the son of Aime Dube and Florence (Langlois) Dube. For 20 years Ronald served in the U.S. Navy retiring in 1972 with an honorable discharge. He then worked for the U.S. Post Office retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Lawrence Knights of Columbus 4th degree. The VFW, the FRA and also a member of the Lawrence Citizens Police Academy.

He was also a parishioner of O.L.G.C. Parish, St. Augustine Chapel and St. Theresa’s Church in Methuen.

Ron leaves his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Frances R. (Berard) Dube of Lawrence.
3 sons Ronald P. Dube, Jr., and his wife Ruth Ann of Lawrence, Timothy B. Dube and Yasmin of Methuen, and Matthew Dube and his wife Nicole also of Methuen, MA.
His mother Florence Dube of Lawrence and a sister Dolores Lozowski and her husband John of Methuen.
8 grandchildren, 1 niece and 3 nephews.
ARRANGMENTS: Memorials can be made to the American Parkinsons Disease Assoc. 720 Harrison Ave Boston, MA 02118 or American heart Assoc. 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00a.m. ay Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
