DRACUT, MA - Emile A. Morasse, Jr., 65, of Dracut died Thursday July 31, 2008 at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody. He was the husband of Ethel O. (Stearns) Morasse, to whom he was married for 45 years.
Born in Lawrence on June 18, 1943, he was a son of the late Emile A. and Aline (Fortier) Morasse.
Mr. Morasse was raised and educated in Lawrence. He worked as a millwright maintenance mechanic for the Lawrence Paper Mill for 45 years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Morasse is survived by two sons Butch Morasse and his wife Maureen of Dracut and Mike Morasse of Providence, RI; a daughter Debra Perry of Lewiston, ME; two brothers Raymond Morasse and his wife Wendy of California and Fred Morasse and his wife Pat of Lowell; three sisters Jeanette Coburn and her husband Bruce of Salem, NH, Aline Judd and her husband George of Lowell, and Marie Falcon and her husband Joe of Dracut; a brother-in-law James McLaughlin of Dracut; four grandchildren Katlyn Perry, Lee Perry, Jared Morasse, and Kyle Morasse; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister Carol McLaughlin.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Monday from 4 until 7 PM. Emile's funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM. After his funeral service, cremation will follow and burial will be private as requested by the family.
