Oxford- Everett A. Primeau, 71, of Oxford, died Monday, March 17, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 20 years, Rita F. (Gailiunas) Primeau; a sister, Sylvia Mandelke of Olympia, WA; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Arthur H. and Vivian F. (Perks) Primeau, and lived there many years before moving to Oxford. He graduated from Commerce High School and Wayne State University.
Mr. Primeau was a car salesman at Tri-State Subaru in Dudley, and later in Webster for 12 years. He was also an amateur magician and a notary public.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Parish, Worcester, the Society of American Magicians, and the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
He was an avid reader.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, in St. Casimir's Church, 41 Providence Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours. Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester (www.worcesterfuneral.com), is directing arrangements.
