Worcester- Andrew J. "Panda" Goclowski, 39, of 74 Gage Street, died Friday, March 21, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, after a short illness.
He leaves his wife of 11 years, Patricia J. (Ceffalo) Goclowski; a son, Matthew V. Goclowski of Worcester; a daughter, Gina K. Goclowski of Worcester; his mother, Janina (Wasilewska) Goclowski of Worcester; two brothers, Walter Goclowski of Gilbertville and Stanley Kowalczyk of Worcester; four sisters, Irene Chrostowski of Worcester, Terry Casamasina of Holden, Krystyna Goclowski of Worcester, and Wanda Goclowski of Worcester; nephews and nieces. Three brothers, John Goclowski of Worcester, died in 1972, Charles Goclowski of Monroe, CT, died in 2000, and Richard Goclowski, died in 2001. He was born in Worcester, son of Matthew Goclowski and lived here all his life.
Mr. Goclowski was a self employed plasterer.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Ann Catholic Parish.
He enjoyed fishing, football, and playing basketball with his children. He coached and umpired Little League.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 25, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street (www.worcesterfuneral.com), with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 24, in the funeral home.
