In Taunton, July 30, 2008 Maria S. died at home peacefully while surrounded by her family. Maria was born in Taunton to her late parents Antonio & Maria (Araujo) Oliveira. Maria was predeased by her late husbands Luis Rezendes & Alfred Pimental. Maria has lived most of her life in Taunton, moving here in 1952. She was employed at New Jersey Rubber Co. & Rennie’s Curtain Factory both in Taunton. Maria enjoyed watching wrestling and loved her children and Grandchildren. Maria leaves her children Maria Leonor Lenny Pereira, Linda Boyce & her fiancee Brian Perry, Lidwina Lavigne & her husband Jim, Gilbert Pimental and his wife Carol and the late Edith Fleck. Her siblings Maria da Estrelina Botelho and husband Angelo of Bermuda and the late Maria do Carmo Oliveria, Deolinda deCosta, Manual Oliveira and Antonio Oliveira. Maria is also survived by her eleven Grandchildren and twenty one Great Grandchildren and her late Grandchildren Christopher & Nicholas Boyce. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Mon., August 4th at 8am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthonys Church at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sun. from 5-8pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
