Of North Dighton, formerly of Taunton -Carmen M. Silvia, wife of the late Edward Silvia Sr., died on Sunday, July 27th unexpectedly at Morton Hospital. She was of 84.
Born in Lowell, she grew up in East Taunton and was educated in Taunton schools.
A mental retardation technician, she worked at the former Paul Dever School for 20 years, having previously worked for Reed and Barton for many years.
She was an avid Red Sox fan.
She leaves a son Edward Silvia Jr. and his wife Susan of North Dighton; three grandchildren, Joshua, Garin, and Emily; several sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law and several friends.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, Aug. 1st at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, North Dighton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
