Albert I. “Skip” Meadows, 63, died at home on Tuesday, July 29 after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, he was a longtime resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Meadows was a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a machinist at Dynisco in Franklin for 40 years before retiring this year. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he enjoyed his motorcycle, model ships, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Meadows is survived by his daughters, Jodi Hurley of Weymouth, Heather Meadows and her fiancé Eddie Murphy of Randolph and Nicole Rhuda and her husband Shawn of Methuen. He was the son of Natalie (Kelle) Perkins of NH and the late Joseph Meadows. He was the brother of Joy Meadows of NH and the late Howard and Joe Alfred Meadows. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 nephew and 1 niece.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, August 2 at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM.
