Eleanor A. (Kearns) Logue, a resident of Medford since 1988 and a former longtime resident of Charlestown, died on Monday July 28, 2008 at her home in Medford following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 79 years old.
Eleanor was born in Boston, she grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1946. She was a homemaker while taking care of her husband and 2 sons.
Eleanor is the beloved wife of the late Hugh S. Logue. She is the devoted mother of Hugh S. Logue and his wife Elizabeth of Medford and Stephen F. Logue and his wife Laurie of Billerica. She is the loving grandmother of Stephen F. Logue Jr. and Katelyn Logue. She is the beloved sister of Frank Kearns of Tampa, Florida and the late Margaret O'Brien and Edward Kearns.
Eleanor's Funeral will be held on Thursday July 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are on Wednesday July 30, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
