Rosetta Lewis Smith, 83, Clarksville, died Monday, July 28, 2008, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 1pm Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Paul Tramel and Rev. David Fambrough officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Wednesday and from 11am until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born Aug. 11, 1924, in Stewart County, Tn, daughter of Guy Lewis and Eula Lewis.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvie Smith, son Steve Smith,granddaughter LeAnn Fambrough, sisters Evelyn Beasley, Laura Butts, Ruth Smith, Robbie Hodge, brothers Virgil Lewis, Basil Lewis and Elbert Lewis. She worked six years for Red's Bakery and the Foster Grandparents Program.She was a 50 year member of Cumberland Drive Baptist Church, presently, a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church, and member of The Fellowship Sunday School Class. She is survived by four daughters Phyllis Church, Eulanne(Steve)Fambrough, Judy(Ronnie) Williams,and Nancy(Phillip)Morris,five grandchildren Matthew(Denise)Smith, Rhonda Teague, Brad(Jo Ellen)Fambrough, Alex Morris and Charlsey Morris. Pallbearers will be Matthew Smith, Brad Fambrough, Alex Morris, Phillip Thompson, Mark Thompson and Jim Thompson.Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
