Lucy B. (Botelho) Sicilia, of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford died Friday March 21, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alexander F. Sicilia.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Antonio and Escolastica (Augusta) Botelho, she had lived in Fall River for many years before moving to New Bedford in 1984.
She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church in North Dartmouth.
Mrs. Sicilia was the proprietor of Lucy's Beauty Salon in Fall River for many years.
Survivors include a son, Albert B. DeMatos and his wife Marianna, of North Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.She was the grandmother of the late Albert DeMatos and Ann Marie DeMatos, and sister of the late Mary, Madeline, Mariano, Maurice, Jesse and Manuel.
