Obituary

Adelaide V. (Vaccaro) Sirotiak, died Wednesday at the Winchester Nursing Center, where she had been a resident for the past 6 years. She was 86.

Mrs. Sirotiak was born in Somerville, the daughter of the late Atty. A. Ralph and the late Adelaide (Albertini) Vaccaro.

Adelaide graduated from Saint Clement High School and Boston University. After college she lived in Washington, DC and worked with the War Department during World War II. After her return home she worked as a clerk, for 36 years, with the Harvard Trust Co.

An active woman, Mrs. Sirotiak was a resident of the Hillside neighborhood of Medford for 36 years. She later moved to Stoneham. She belonged to the Women of the Moose, St. Francis Senior Citizens and Medford Senior Citizens Groups.

The wife of the late George J. Sirotiak, she is survived by two daughters: Virginia L. Ashlock of E. Alton, IL and Anne-Marie Fruh of North Reading, MA.She also leaves one brother, Ralph Vaccaro of West Falmouth, MA, 6 loving grandchildren and 3 loving great grandchildren.She is pre deaceased by a sister, Virginia Cobb, and brother, Albert Vaccaro.

Friends may visit Sunday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.Her funeral mass will be celebrated at St.Theresa Church, 63 Winter Street, North Reading, Monday at 10 AM.Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Mooseheart, Mosseheart, IL 60539 or to the St. Theresa Building Fund, 63 Winter St., N. Reading, MA 01864.
