Lorraine E. (Festa) Long, of Medford, formerly of Somerville, died Thursday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 71.
Mrs. Long was born and raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Eleanor (Vigareta) Festa. She worked as a nurse’s aid for many years. She has lived in Medford for the past 15 years.
She is survived by her husband William Long, her brother Eddie Festa and his wife Lucille of Billerica and several dear nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Joseph Festa and his wife Jeannie.
Family and friends may visit Monday from 4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. On Tuesday the procession will gather at the funeral home at 8 AM followed by a 9 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
