Philip Costantino, 81, died Monday, July 21, 2008, at the Northshore Regional Hospital in Slidell, LA after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, he was raised in the South End and Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Boston Schools. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Army. Mr. Costantino moved to Brockton at age 33 and lived there for 20 years before moving to Louisiana over 25 years ago. Mr. Costantino worked as a Carpenter for Local 1846 in Louisiana for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his son Philip S. of LA. He is the grandfather of Philip S. DiCostantino and Sean J. DiCostantino both of LA. He was the brother of Vincent DiCostantino of LA. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, July 28, at 10 AM Visiting Hours prior to services from 9-10 AM.
