Daniel Thomas “Danny” Cecil, 43, of Ridgeville, husband of Patricia Ricks Cecil died Sunday, July 20, 2008.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 4 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2 o’clock until the hour of service. Burial will be private. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
Danny was born July 27, 1964 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Edward Francis Cecil and Arlene Maxfield Cecil. He attended Summerville High School. He enjoyed kayaking, riding his motorcycle, cooking and fishing with his grandson. He was owner of Danny’s Do It All Service.

2 grandsons and one on the way: Jordan Wayne Abercrombie of Ridgeville and Christopher Lee Gibson of Indiana
Brothers and sister: Eddie Cecil of North Charleston, Bennie Cecil of Lebanon and Greg Cecil of Bonneau and Teresa Buchannan of Kentucky
Mother and Father –in-law: Earl Lee Ricks and Patricia Ann Ricks of North Charleston
Sister-in-law: Ruby Ann Snyder of Summerville and nephew: Robert E. Snyder, III of Summerville.
His dogs: Fluffy, Lady, Missy and Cinnamon.
