Taunton; Elaine (Norris) Grenier, a resident of Taunton since 1947 and also of Middleboro, died as a result of a lengthy illness, on Sunday,July 20, 2008 at Royal Estates, a retirement home in El Paso,Texas; where she had lived for several years.
She was 85 years of age. She had moved there to be near her daughter who also lived in El Paso. Elaine was born in Middleboro, daughter of the late Edwin H. Norris and Doris (Broghton) Norris. She was the wife of the late Roger Vincent Grenier. She worked for the Paul Dever State School for 32 years as an Attendant Nurse. She also attended Memorial High School in Middleboro, as well as the Middleboro Congregational Church for many years.
Elaine enjoyed gardening and reading.
She is survived by 1 daughter; Mrs. James (Patricia)Navarre of El Paso, and by 1 grand-daughter; Stephanie.
Funeral services were held in Texas. Local burial will take place on Friday at Bourne National Cemetery at 9:30 A.M.
