DRACUT—Isabel M. (Carney) Conole, 83 years old, died Wednesday afternoon, July 23rd, at Saints Medical Center, in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Clement J. Conole, who died in May of 1986.
She was born in Lowell, on September 16, 1924, a daughter of the late John D. and Ellena (Sullivan) Carney. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Grammar School, and Lowell High School, Class of 1942.
Mrs. Conole worked for many years as a Bank Teller at the Central Savings Bank, in Lowell and Chelmsford, retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church, in Dracut, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She held membership in the League of Catholic Women, the Poor Clare Guild, and the Dracut Senior Citizens, the St. Francis Widows Group, and the Middlesex Women’s Club.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law: Clement J. and Dianna Conole, of Dracut; Rev. Robert W. Conole, of Sacred Hearts Parish, Bradford; and David P. Conole, of Litchfield, NH; twin granddaughters: Katherine and Elizabeth Conole, both of Dracut.
She was also the mother-in-law of the late Christine Murphy Conole.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, July 25th at ST FRANCIS CHURCH, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Her Funeral Mass to be offered on Saturday, July 26th at 10 AM at ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, Dracut. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
