WORCESTER-Ruth V. (Sundquist) Larson, 90, passed away Wednesday, July 23 surrounded by her loving family.
Her husband, Oliver C. Larson passed away in 1964. She leaves her beloved children, Paul O. and his wife Jean (Bergman) Larson and Christine L. Grudzinski; her granddaughter, Amanda J. Larson; two great grandsons, Jayden and Evan and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Betsey L. Sundquist and two brothers, Paul W. Sundquist and Carl E. Sundquist predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Carl Gustaf and Esther (Hultman) Sundquist and graduated from Sutton High School in 1936. Ruth worked in the Account Payables Dept. for Norton Company for many years, retiring in 1983. Ruth was a life long member of Bethlehem Covenant Church and its Women’s Club. She enjoyed smocking, rug braiding, baking and working in her yard and garden. Ruth loved spending time with her family and being by Lake Singletary.
Ruth’s Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 2nd at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Covenant Church, 46 Greenwood St. There will be a greeting period from 10:30 to 11:00 before the service at the church. Burial will be private in All Faiths Cemetery.
