Augusta,GA.- Dr. Donavon D. Berge age 62, husband of Mrs. Gina Berge entered into rest on Friday, January 18, 2008 at Trinity Hospital.
Services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Belair Rd. Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home with Reverend Howard Gibbs and Curtiss Gibbs officiating. Interment will be held in Harlem Memorial Cemetery.
Additional survivors; two sons, Eric Berge and his wife Leslie of Grovetown, Christopher Berge of Charleston,SC, one daughter, Shannon Gibbs and her husband Curtiss of Grovetown. Three brothers, Daniel Berge and his wife Judy of Gardner,CO: Dave Berge and his wife Jan of Waunakee,WI; and Douglas Berge of Oshkosh,WI; One sister, Deborah Gaddis and her husband Johnny of Cleveland,GA. One grandson, Blake Berge.
Dr. Berge was preceded in death by one son Michael D. Berge and his parents, Odin and Alice Berge.
Dr. Berge was a Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in Augusta for over twenty five years. Dr. Berge was a member of ADA, GDA, AAOMS and the Augusta Dental Society. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church.
Pallbearers will be nephews: Brent Nash, Travis Nash, Glenn Nash, Brannen Bennett,
Jason LeComte, and Justin LeComte.
