WORCESTER____Bronislawa (Muchlado) Snopko, 97, of 36 Ellsworth St, died Sunday July 20, 2008 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Her husband of 63 years, Feliks Snopko died in 2000.
She was also predeceased by a son, Stanley H. Snopko in 2005 and a daughter, Irene Zaluski in 1985. She leaves three grandchildren, Gregory Zaluski, Beata Chiras and Andrew Zaluski, five great-grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy and Matthew Zaluski and Samantha and Dena Husson, and two sisters, Mary and Wanda of Poland. She was born and raised in Poland and has lived in Worcester since 1966.
Mrs. Snopko was a seamstress for more than 20 years and retired many years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Friday July 25, 2008 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday July 24, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family requests that flowers be ommitted.
