Florence (Rei) Santos, 81, a resident of Norton for most of her life died on Saturday July 19, 2008 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the former wife of Anthony Santos.
Born in Norton, MA on February 28, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Augusta (Texeira) Rei.
She was educated in Norton schools and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton. Florence was employed as a Bench Worker for many years at the Robbins Co. in Attleboro before retiring. She had also lived in Attleboro for several years.
She was the mother of the late Anthony Santos and the sister of Constance Silva of Mansfield, Georgina Jolicoeur of Attleboro and the late Cecelia Marshall, Clara DeMeritt, Mary Abreu, Theresa Trainor and Isabel Pestana, also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday July 29th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 133 South Worcester St. Norton. Visiting hours are omitted.
