SALEM- Ruth A. (Hutchinson) (Morin) Doucette, 81, wife of Frank O. Doucette, of Salem, formerly of Peabody, died Monday, March 17, 2003 in the Salem Hospital following a short illness. She was also the wife of the late Martin Morin.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Robert Bruce & Ethel (Waitte) Hutchinson.
A resident of Salem for the past four years, she lived in Peabody for most of her life.
Besides her husband, Mrs Doucette is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Martin & Linda Morin of Albany, Oregon, one daughter & son-in-law, Candice and James Cassidy of Bradford, four grandchildren, Michelle Cassidy of Bradford, Heather & her husband Anthony Goodwin of Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, Stanley and his wife Sharon Searles, III of Lake Worth, Florida, Matthew and his wife Adrienne Morin of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, two step-children, Richard and his wife Lori Doucette of Beverly, Donna and her husband Norman Cheney of Salem, five step grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was the mother of the late Stanley Searles, Jr. and sister of the late Helen Petry.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2003, at 10 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
