John Cordell Hill
John “Cordell” Hill, 80, of the Lebanon Community, Ridgeville, husband of Myrl G. Hill, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at his residence.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 5 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville. Burial will follow at Rudd Branch Cemetery, Lebanon Community, Ridgeville. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hill was born May 9, 1928 in Berkeley County, son of the late John Edward Hill and Carrie Lee Hill. He enjoyed Fishing, Deer Hunting and Gardening. He retired in 1990 as a Security Manager with RM Engineered Products.

Survivors, including his wife Myrl, are two daughters; Angela G. Hill of West Columbia, SC and Amy H. Hamby and her husband Tracy of Erwin, NC, one grandson; John Logan Hamby of Erwin, NC and one granddaughter; Abigail Grace Hamby of Erwin, NC and two sisters; Patricia H. Smith and Winifred Ann Grooms both of the Lebanon Community, Ridgeville.
