Thomas A. Carey, 48, of Manchester, died July 18, 2008, at his home, after a brief illness. He was born in Manchester February 6, 1960, and was the son of Robert and Lorraine(Chaput) Carey.
Tom, received his education locally. Later he joined the United States Army, and served with the 82nd airborne.
He was an easy going guy that loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching sports, in particular, the Red Sox, Patriots, and NASCAR racing.
Family members include his children; Ricky and Bobby Carey, both of Manchester; his mother, of Manchester; four sisters, Darlene Bernier, of Manchester, Kathleen Koslosky, of TX, Charlene Carey, of Manchester, Lisa Woo, of IL; a brother, Michael Carey, of Manchester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A committal service with military honors was held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
